Rohit Sharma, the captain of Team India, is known as the “Hitman” for a reason. Recently, he made history by becoming the player with the most centuries in T20 international cricket. In a match against Afghanistan, Rohit played an outstanding inning and scored a remarkable century.

Before the big ICC T20 World Cup, Team India played their last series in this format. They won all three matches against the visiting team. The final match was especially thrilling as it was the first time in T20 history that two super overs were played in a single game. India won the series 3-0.

In that crucial match, Rohit Sharma rescued the team when they were struggling at 22 runs for the loss of four wickets. He played an amazing innings, scoring 121 runs in 69 balls, including 11 fours and 8 sixes. The sixes he hit during this innings set a new world record.
Rohit Sharma has also set another record for hitting the most sixes in T20 internationals. After the Afghanistan match, he has hit more than 160 sixes, surpassing the previous record held by Martin Guptill from New Zealand. Rohit now stands as the leading six-hitter in T20 internationals.
