Ola Electric Sl Scooters Get Big Price Drop of INR 25,000

The spokesperson stated, “At Ola, we are dedicated to ending the ICE Age (Internal Combustion Engine) by removing barriers to EV adoption. We want to make sure that EVs are within reach for everyone. To achieve this, we are thrilled to introduce reduced prices across our Sl portfolio. Thanks to our strong in-house technology and manufacturing capabilities, we’ve managed to cut costs and are passing on the benefits to our customers. Our goal is to make our electric scooters priced similarly to traditional ICE scooters, giving customers more reasons to choose electric.”

Recently, Ola Electric received the Domestic Value Addition (DVA) certificate under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme. This certification recognizes the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities, a robust localized supply chain ecosystem, and government subsidies. These factors have enabled Ola Electric to restructure costs and lower the prices of scooters across the Sl portfolio, making them more affordable and accessible.

Ola Electric has been on a roll with various initiatives to encourage the adoption of EVs. The company has expanded its product range to six top-notch offerings, including the recently launched St. X (4kWh). In a groundbreaking move, Ola Electric now provides an industry-first 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for all its products at no extra cost. This addresses a significant concern for EV adoption by doubling the lifespan of the vehicles compared to traditional ICE vehicles.

The company plans to increase its service centers by 50%, from the current 414 centers to 600 centers across the country by April 2024. These initiatives showcase Ola Electric’s commitment to breaking barriers and making the switch to electric scooters a seamless and attractive choice for consumers.
