Fans have been showing their disappointment by booing Pandya during matches, especially in his first game back in Ahmedabad against GT, and also in matches against SRH and RR.
Despite the tough situation, some former cricketers are supporting Pandya. Michael Clarke, the former captain of Australia, talked about a chat he had with Pandya. He said Pandya seems confident and won’t let the pressure get to him. Clarke thinks winning matches is the key to winning back the fans’ support.
Stuart Broad, a player from England, also spoke about Mumbai Indians’ struggle. He said players don’t usually get bothered by crowd reactions. But he emphasized that Mumbai Indians need to start winning again because they’re known for their winning mentality.
