The cars that made it to the Top 10 list accounted for a significant 77% of all cars sold in India during January 2024. Among them, Maruti had 10 models, Hyundai had 5, Mahindra had 4, Tata had 3, Kia had 2, and Toyota had 1. Maruti Suzuki models alone contributed to more than 49% of the Top 10 cars.

- The top spot for January 2024 goes to Maruti Baleno, making it the best-selling car in India. The combination of Baleno, Glanza, and Fronx saw an impressive 37,013 units dispatched. This success highlights the effectiveness of utilizing a single vehicle platform.
Tata Punch Achieves Record Numbers:
- Tata’s Punch secured its highest-ever dispatch numbers, reaching 17,978 units and claiming the second spot on the list. It outperformed Nexon to become the best-selling Tata model in January 2024.

- Maruti’s Wagon R secured the third position with dispatches totaling 17,756 units. Despite facing a slight dip compared to the previous month, it remains a popular choice among Indian car buyers.
