Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu, the popular Bollywood couple, welcomed their daughter Devi in 2022. Despite regularly sharing glimpses of their family life on Instagram, the couple has chosen not to reveal Devi’s face. In a recent interview with India Today, Karan explained the reason behind this decision.

According to Karan, Bipasha expressed that they do not have Devi’s permission to show her face, and until they have it, they won’t disclose her identity. He emphasized that it makes sense, and even though the paparazzi and people around them are understanding, they respect the family’s wish to keep Devi’s face private.
Karan also shared an amusing tidbit about Devi’s social nature. He mentioned that Devi often greets random people when they travel, saying ‘Hi’ to everyone she encounters. Despite this friendly nature, the couple remains committed to protecting their daughter’s privacy.
Devi’s arrival in their lives was not without challenges. Last year, Karan and Bipasha revealed that Devi was born with two holes in her heart and had to undergo surgery. Bipasha, in a previous chat with Neha Dhupia on Instagram Live, shared the emotional journey, recalling the tough decision to have Devi operated on at the right place and the right time.

On a professional note, Karan Singh Grover was recently seen in the film “Fighter,” directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie, featuring stars like Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and Akshay Oberoi, has already crossed the ₹150 crore mark in India, marking a successful venture for the actor.
