Let us decide to #ExploreIndianIslands and support our own tourism.”

John Abraham, promoting tourism in Indian islands, highlighted the incredible Indian hospitality, the concept of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (the guest is God), and the vast marine life in Lakshadweep. He said, “With the amazing Indian hospitality, the idea of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ and a vast marine life to explore, Lakshadweep is the place to go. #exploreindianislands.”

Rameez’s comments triggered a social media storm, with the hashtag “#BoycottMaldives” trending as many criticized his remarks.
As Bollywood stars continue to advocate for exploring the beauty of Indian islands, the controversy has shed light on the significance of promoting domestic tourism and celebrating the diverse landscapes within India.
