He became the first Indian cricketer to score more than 9000 runs in T20 cricket. This happened on a Monday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Before this game against DC, Kohli had already scored 8990 runs from playing in 285 T20 matches. His average score was 41.05, and he had a quick strike rate of 134.25 in T20 games. Kohli has played for India, RCB, and the Delhi team. He has hit five centuries and 65 half-centuries in T20 matches.

Now, Virat Kohli is in the company of some great T20 players worldwide. Chris Gayle from the West Indies is at the top with 13296 runs, followed by Kieron Pollard (West Indies – 10370), Shoaib Malik (Pakistan – 9926), Brendon McCullum (New Zealand – 9922), David Warner (Australia – 9451), and Aaron Finch (Australia – 9148).

At 31 years old, Kohli has an impressive record with 70 scores of fifty or more in T20 matches, making him the third-best in this category. He also has the third-best T20 average among all players. In the IPL, he has scored 5512 runs so far, showing his great skills and consistency.
