The new Nexon, evaluated in 2023, boasts additional safety features, including six airbags and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard. This upgraded model has been recognized for its outstanding safety performance, and the five-star rating is applicable to cars manufactured from August 8, 2023, onwards, according to Global NCAP.

Global NCAP’s thorough crash test procedures assess various aspects such as frontal and side impact protection, Electronic Stability Control, pedestrian protection, and side pole impact protection. The Nexon exhibited a stable structure and robust restraint systems, providing excellent protection for both adults and children.

In the dynamic tests, the Nexon demonstrated nearly complete protection for child occupants. It is equipped with versatile features such as 1-size anchorages and a passenger airbag disabling switch, making it an excellent choice for transporting young passengers.

Moreover, the Nexon meets the UN127 and GTR9 requirements for pedestrian protection as a standard feature. It also complies with Global NCAP’s ESC requirements and includes seat belt reminders in all seating positions.
