Design
The Curvv boasts a distinctive design, featuring a sharp fascia and a unique coupe-like roofline. Its LED light bar, reminiscent of the Nexon facelift, now extends even further. The front grille showcases a blend of piano black and body color finish, adding a touch of sophistication. Notable changes include new headlamp and foglamp housings, resembling the Harrier and Safari facelifts, and an enlarged air intake with a prominent faux skid plate.
On the sides, the Curvv introduces a novel feature – wing mirrors mounted on the doors and flush door handles. At the rear, the LED light bar adopts a dark tint, and the tail-lamps now sport production-ready elements. Additional reflectors are integrated into the vertically positioned air inlets on the rear bumper. The top models will feature a full LED light setup, 360-degree camera, and impressive 18-inch alloy wheels.

Dimensions and Powertrain Options
Measuring 4,308mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,630mm in height, with a 2,560mm wheelbase, the Curvv perfectly fits the midsize SUV segment. It offers a spacious 422-litre boot.
Tata plans to offer multiple powertrain options. The initial launch will feature the Curvv EV, positioning Tata ahead in the electric SUV market. This move is expected to compete with upcoming models like the Creta EV, offering similar dimensions and price range. Following the Curvv EV, a diesel variant powered by the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine will be introduced. Subsequently, a petrol version with a 125hp, 225Nm, 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine and a CNG option will follow. Various gearbox options, including manual, AMT, and DCT automatic, will be available based on the chosen powertrain.
Launch Timeline
Production for the Curvv EV series is set to commence around April at Tata Motors’ Ranjangaon plant near Pune. Tata Motors has ambitious plans, targeting an annual sales figure of approximately 48,000 units for the Curvv SUV, with 12,000 units expected from the Curvv EV. Exciting times lie ahead for Tata enthusiasts as they eagerly await the arrival of this innovative and versatile SUV.
