Ravi Shastri, a former all-rounder and head coach of the Indian cricket team, is set to be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Shastri, aged 61, made a significant impact during his playing days, representing India in 80 Tests and 150 ODIs. Following his playing career, he carved a successful path in the world of cricket broadcasting.

Shastri’s coaching journey for the national team had two chapters. First, he served as the team director from 2014 to 2016, and later, he returned as the head coach alongside captain Virat Kohli until the T20 World Cup in 2021. One of the highlights of Shastri’s coaching tenure was India’s remarkable back-to-back Test series victories in Australia. However, despite several achievements, the team fell short of clinching an ICC title during Shastri and Kohli’s leadership.
