In a surprising midnight announcement on February 15, Netflix India revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Dunki” is now available on its streaming platform. The Bollywood film, directed by the renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, was initially released on December 21, 2023.

“Dunki” marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. It is the third movie released in 2023 by Shah Rukh Khan, following “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” both of which earned over ₹1,000 crores worldwide. While there were high hopes that “Dunki” would achieve similar success at the box office, the movie fell short, not even reaching half the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s previous two films.
