Poonam Pandey, the actor-model, is once again making headlines, and this time it’s not for a positive reason. After her controversial fake death stunt in February, where she claimed to have died from cervical cancer to raise awareness, she has now removed all posts related to cervical cancer from her Instagram account.

In a recent Instagram post, Poonam wrote, “The truth shall be revealed soon.” However, the internet is not pleased with her latest move, especially after the global attention her death stunt garnered. Many people expressed their displeasure in the comments section of her new post.

One Instagram user commented, “She literally deleted everything about cervical cancer.” Others reacted to her caption, with one person stating, “We don’t want to hear any fake truth,” and another expressing disinterest, saying, “Not interested.” Some even criticized her, calling it “More drama” and urging her not to create drama again.

To recall, on February 2, Poonam shocked everyone by announcing her death on her official Instagram handle, claiming she succumbed to cervical cancer at the age of 32. Her manager also confirmed the news. However, a day later, Poonam revealed in an Instagram video that it was all a publicity stunt to spread awareness about cervical cancer.

Her stunt faced severe backlash, leading to numerous complaints being filed against her. A defamation lawsuit of ₹100 crore has been filed against Poonam and her husband, Sam Bombay, for the fake death stunt. The All India Cine Workers also lodged an FIR against Poonam for her controversial actions.
