The redesigned Hyundai Creta Facelift has been spotted without camouflage, offering a sneak peek into the SUV’s new design. The forthcoming Creta showcases noticeable differences from its predecessor, featuring a distinctive and robust exterior design. The changes include a redesigned front grille and an upright hood, contributing to a commanding road presence. Positioned above the grille are seamlessly connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), while below, the split-unit LED headlamp features detailed design. The side profile boasts a fresh alloy wheel design, and the rear receives an update with new connected taillamps. Hyundai has also made enhancements to the front and rear bumpers.

Moving inside the cabin, the new Creta boasts seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch dual displays – one for the infotainment system and another for the fully digital instrument cluster. Beneath these displays, a touch-sensitive panel controls the infotainment system and HVAC. The center console has undergone tweaks, showcasing a new gear lever for automatic transmissions and illuminated buttons for ventilated seats, among other features. The dashboard has been redesigned to feature thin vents and a dual-tone theme.

Under the hood, the upcoming Hyundai Creta will retain the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Petrol and the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engines. Notably, the SUV will also introduce the 1.5 L Turbo Petrol Engine, generating power and torque, paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

In terms of features, the new Creta stands out with offerings such as ventilated seats, an 8-way powered driver seat, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360 Surround View Camera with front and rear parking sensors. Additionally, it incorporates Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, and more.

Hyundai plans to launch the Creta in seven variants – E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O). The color palette comprises six options – Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey. A dual-tone option is available – Atlas White with Black Roof.

The highly anticipated Creta is scheduled to be unveiled on January 16th, 2024, with bookings already open at a token amount. Upon its launch, it will compete with rivals such as the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
