The opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 is a big event that will have Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many important people attending, including celebrities from the Indian film industry. Actors from Bollywood and the South film industry have been invited to take part in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, where the idol of Lord Ram will be placed in the temple.

On Sunday, several famous people were seen leaving for Ayodhya from different airports. Rajinikanth, the popular actor from Tamil cinema, was seen at Chennai airport, where he greeted his fans with a smile and folded hands. Dhanush, his former son-in-law and actor, also went with him to Ayodhya. Pawan Kalyan, the Jana Sena chief and Telugu superstar, arrived in Lucknow on Sunday and expressed his happiness about the event.

From Bollywood, actors Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi, Shefali Shah, and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar were among those who left for Ayodhya. Anupam Kher said he was feeling very good and would pray for everyone. Shefali Shah said she was honored to be invited to one of the biggest cultural moments of the country. Vivek Oberoi and Madhur Bhandarkar also shared their excitement on social media.
Well-known chef Sanjeev Kapoor and singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan, known for Shankar Ehsaan Loy, were also seen in Ayodhya, getting ready to attend the ceremony on Monday. They said they felt fortunate and blessed to be part of this historic event.
Apart from these, other Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Hariharan, and Randeep Hooda have also received invitations to attend the ceremony.
