Anticipation is growing within the electric scooter community as Ather Energy prepares to reveal its highly anticipated model, the Ather 450 Apex, on January 6, 2024. Enthusiasts have already started securing their spots in line by placing bookings on Ather’s website, with deliveries scheduled to commence in March 2024.

Performance and Riding Modes:

The standout feature of the Ather 450 Apex is the introduction of the groundbreaking Warp+ riding mode. Positioned as the pinnacle of Ather’s electric scooter lineup, surpassing the capabilities of the existing 450X and 450S models, the 450 Apex promises an exciting ride with multiple riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, and the all-new Warp+.

Battery Specifications and Power Output:

Anticipation is high as enthusiasts expect the Ather 450 Apex to share the same 3.7kWh battery pack as the 450X but with a twist. Speculations suggest a more robust electric motor, surpassing the impressive 6.4kW power output of the 450X. This enhancement is poised to deliver swift 0-40kmph acceleration, outpacing its predecessor in just 3.3 seconds. Moreover, the 450 Apex may boast an increased top speed of 100kmph, compared to the 90kmph top speed of the 450X.

Features and Additions:

The Ather 450 Apex is expected to inherit all the advanced features of the 450X, with noteworthy additions such as advanced regen, cruise control, and crawl control, enhancing the overall riding experience. Key features like auto-hold function, over-the-air (OTA) updates, Ather connect services, and a reliable single disc setup at both ends are anticipated to be retained.

Pricing Mystery:

While the official pricing is yet to be revealed, industry experts speculate that the Ather 450 Apex may command a premium ranging between Rs 15,000-25,000 over the 450X. For context, the 450X, equipped with 3.7kWh and 2.9kWh battery packs, is currently priced at Rs 1,44,921 and Rs 1,37,999 (both ex-showroom, Bangalore) respectively. In comparison, the 450S holds a price tag of Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom).
