Plot Overview:

“The Kerala Story” revolves around three girls – Shalini (Adah Sharma), Nimah (Yogita Bihani), and Geetanjali (Siddhi Idnani) – who are manipulated by their roommate, Asifa (Sonia Balani), into converting to another religion. The movie unfolds in two parts: the first half depicts the girls being manipulated, while the second half follows Shalini’s journey as Fatima Ba, a converted member of a terrorist group, and her imprisonment in Afghanistan. The film sheds light on incidents that occurred between 2018-19, revealing how young individuals from Kerala were influenced by a terrorist group.
